Safe Interiors 2(m)-020
Our design principal, Raluca Buzdugan, assembled and lead an international team of architects, biologists and medical doctors to research the way buildings can prevent spreading of pathogens and sustain our health. The results of this research were published in the book “Spatii sigure 2(m)-2020”.
The book was awarded the “Revista Arhitectura” Prize in the Architectural Publications section at the Bienala de Arhitectura 2021 organized by the Union of Architects Romania. See the competition site here: Bienala Nationala de Arhitectura 2021

This grant about the structural capabilities of folded materials was done in collaboration with the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest.

Our design principal, Raluca Buzdugan, is also an accomplished painter. Her works are in international private collections.
Workshops
Lighting workshops
Raluca Buzdugan directed a long series of artistic lighting workshops within the University of Architecture “Ion Mincu”, Bucharest, Romania, where she taught for 15 years. Her expertise in artistic lighting translated into memorable installations within the buildings designed by our studio, as it is the case of the beautiful Light Tower at the Moldova Center in Iasi.
